The Board of Directors of CFAO Nigeria Plc has appointed Mr. Gbenga Oyebode as its chairman.

As the fourth indigenous chairman of the multinational firm, a statement on Tuesday said that Oyebode would bring his vast boardroom experience to bear on the company.

It added that the new chairman would continue with the tradition of operational excellence and business integrity built upon by the late Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas, who passed on two years ago.

According to the company, Oyebode is a renowned lawyer, experienced administrator, chairman and director of several reputable organisations in Nigeria and overseas, as well as the recipient of several prestigious awards, including Member of the Order of the Federal Republic and the Belgian Royal Honour of Knight of the Order of Leopold.
