Astute legal practitioner and former general secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) Mazi Afam Osigwe has released a message to Muslims across Nigeria.
The renowned lawyer opined that Muslims should use this period to pray for the Nigerian judiciary and the nation as a whole.
The well known legal practitioner also called for unity among Nigerian Lawyers. He made this known in a statement made exclusively available to Lawyard
I wish to join the entire Muslim lawyer association of Nigeria and the entire Muslim ummah as we draw close to the last ten days of Ramadan. I pray that Almighty Allah would accept our prayers in this Holy month.
I urge everyone to remember our great country in prayers as we face so many challenges. We need to call on God to intervene and bring down showers of peace on our great nation.
I equally use this period to pray for the Nigerian judiciary and the Nigerian Bar Association for God to continue to guide each and every member of this noble profession.
The importance of this prayer cannot be over emphasized as the love for the profession keeps us moving.
I implore us to remember our president in prayers, President Muhammadu Buhari GCON. We pray that God grants him quick recovery and also guide the entire leadership of the country.
In conclusion, let’s all join hands together in unity towards the development of the legal profession and the bar at large.
Distinguished colleagues, I wish you a successful Ramadan season.
Mazi Afam Osigwe Esq.
Past General Secretary
Nigerian Bar Association.
