SERAP Threatens Lawsuit Against President Buhari
Socio-Economic rights and accountability project has revealed that they may be instigating legal actions against President Muhammadu Buhari over the lockdown and lack of palliative measures.
They made this known through their twitter handle as a response to the President declaring another 2 weeks extension of the covid-19 lockdown.
Buhari said: “In the long-ago two weeks, we announced panacea actions such as foodstuff distribution, currency transfers and loans refund waivers to get better the pains of our restrictive policies during this challenging time. These palliatives will be sustained.

But in their response statement, SERAP stated that: “President Buhari’s prepare to increase the do enlist from 2.6m households to 3.6m won’t stop it. It fails to obscure 80m reduced Nigerians facing mounting appetite & dispossession outstanding to COVID-19.
