The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Frank Okiye representing Esan North-East Constituency 2 has recently been impeached.
As a result of the impeachment, Hon. Marcus Onobu from Esan West Constituency has emerged the new Speaker of the house.
