On Thursday, a Federal High Court in Abuja restated its order, restraining the Attorney General of the Federation, The Code of Conduct Tribunal, among others from going on with the arraignment of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen.

The order was restated by Justice Evelyn Maha on Thursday, at the resumed hearing of the suits brought by two groups – both challenging the propriety of the charge brought against the CJN before the CCT by the Code of Conduct Bureau.

It was decided by the judge that the January 14 order on parties remain status quo and adjourned to January 28 for hearing.
